Commercialisation: delivering tools, germplasm and cultivars to industry

   

The Molecular Plant Breeding CRC (an unincorporated body) has established a corporate structure to facilitate the commercial adoption of technologies and inventions developed by its participants.

All intellectual property (IP) the CRC decides to protect (via patents and other methods) is owned by the company 'Molecular Plant Breeding Nominees Ltd', which holds it in trust for the participants.

An operating company, 'Molecular Plant Breeding Pty Ltd', acts as agent for the CRC to facilitate commercialisation of Centre IP via licence agreements and other contractual arrangements.
